Planning a holiday

February 19, 2008

I read this somewhere about how planning and looking forward to a holiday does a whole lot of good to your system. I totally agree. It just changes how you feel everyday. Even if I have a bad day, I can console myself saying another few days and yippeeee, I’ll be off on a holiday!  You tend to start dreaming of the place you’ll stay the night, what you’ll do whole day, you plan the itinerary, you’re in good cheer with people around you.

After feeling quite restless for the more than a month, finally I get to go somewhere (this frequently happens to me, if I don’t travel in regular intervals, something starts to feel very wrong with life!). So this weekend, I’m off to Brahmagiri in Coorg for a trek. Best part is we’ll be camping one night. Soooo need this :-) Details next week. One big difference this time is that I haven’t planned the trip, we’re going with this adventure group called Get Off Ur Ass, they’ve taken care of all the details. Also a good chance to meet new people. Promises to be fun!

Phew!

At last, I’m done with posting all my old travelogues. That took some effort! I’m glad I have everything in one place now. Back to the present! Haven’t gone out of town in a while (it’s been 6 weeks since we got back from Kodai), but hey, we have a plan to travel this weekend…yippeee :-)

Intro!

So I thought I needed a place to put in all my travel tales, being the self confessed traveller (the bug bites me ever so often)…

I’m going to post all my previous travel write ups here and then continue from there. Sounds like a plan?

Happy travelling!
